In cooperation with Taupe Magazine, an independent research platform devoted to digital color, IGNANT production created a selection of CGI visuals that investigate how space can inform digital representations of chiaroscuro—a stylistic device used to represent shape, form and color in a pictorial work of art—and evoke light through a deliberate compositional control of contrasts and effects.
